More Jokulsarlon

After a very early (4:30pm) dinner we headed back to Diamond Beach for the sunset, except sadly it didn’t happen.

What was interesting was the way the beach had changed in the couple of hours we’d been away, most of the massive chunks of ice had been broken up and washed away.  The sea was very rough again and almost high tide.  As Paul had recommended when we first arrived, if you see something you like take the shot now as it won’t be there another time.

An attempt at a slow, milky water type image.

You can see why it's called Diamond Beach

After a while I walked back under the bridge to the lagoon bit, but again the light wasn’t particularly inspiring.
